Did you know that New Jersey customers of water and sewer utilities are eligible for assistance with unpaid bills through the Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP)? Register for the October 25 webinar to learn more about the LIHWAP program.

In 2021, New Jersey received $24 million in federal COVID-19 relief funds for a new Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP). Eligible residential customers and their utility companies need to act now to benefit from the LIHWAP program while funds last! LIHWAP is intended to assist low- and moderate-income households with unpaid water and sewer bills, to help them pay off debt and avoid water shutoffs or tax lien sales on their homes. The webinar is presented by Jersey Water Works, Natural Resources Defense Council, NJ Board of Public Utilities (NJ BPU) and the NJ Department of Community Affairs.
