Webinar: Assessing Vulnerability of Urban Stormwater Systems to Changing Climate
September 20 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm
This webinar will use the cities of Minneapolis and Victoria, MN to describe how to conduct an urban stormwater vulnerability assessment within the context of a projection of increased frequency of more extreme precipitation events. We will discuss options for building resilience into the system, along with a cost analysis of different options that may be available for dealing with waters exceeding current capacity. The discussion will also include examples of impact mitigation through low-impact development and green infrastructure.
This webinar is sponsored by American Planning Association Northern New England Chapter and the Bay & Paul Foundation.
